CHAPTERS

Ma-Nu Lodge Chapters

Ma-Nu Lodge is organized into several chapters, with each chapter typically aligned with a district within the council. These chapters operate with their own officers and advisers:

  • Officers: Elected by the youth OA (Order of the Arrow) members in the chapter.

  • Advisers: Appointed by the Scout Executive in collaboration with the Lodge Adviser and District Executive.

The chapter structure allows members to have meetings closer to home, making participation more convenient. Chapter meetings and events can also be synchronized with district events, ensuring seamless integration within the Scouting calendar.

Chapters play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality unit visits for camping promotion and conducting unit elections. Importantly, every member of Ma-Nu Lodge is also part of the chapter in the district where their unit is located, fostering a strong connection between the Lodge, chapters, and local districts.

With the merger of Cimarron Council into Last Frontier Council, Ma-Nu and Ema’o Mahpe Lodges are in the process of merging. When this is complete there will be additional chapters added for the districts added from the new area.
