The MaNu Lodge held a Lodge Leadership Development Conference at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church in Norman on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010. At this traning activity, the lodge and chapter officers and advisers studied camp promotion, developed leadership skills, received Elangomat Training, and discussed other issues about successfully running a lodge program. It was immediately followed by a Lodge Executive Committee meeting, and then by the annual lodge banquet. At the banquet we recognized those Arrowmen who had given outstanding service during the past year. In addition to the installation of new lodge and chapter officers, many special recognitions were made, including chapter officer and adviser recognitions, lodge committee chairmen, event chairmen and new Vigil Honor members. MaNu Lodge annual awards were also presented, including the White Buffalo award (see recipient list below), the Miller "Pat" Patterson award to Paul Schmidlkofer, the Bill George award to Aaron Patterson, and the Casy Cundiff Quality Chapter of the Year award to Eagle Chapter. Our highest award, the Founder's Award, was presented to Brin Fair, Aaron Patterson and Paul Schmidlkofer. Additional award recipients included Eagle Chapter for their support of Fall Fellowship, and Cindy Rogers for service as chapter adviser in Kittikima Chapter (Baden-Powell District). We had a great evening of fellowship, celebration and fine food!
